Warhawks Cheerleading
The Warhawks Youth Cheerleading Association is all about spirit, confidence, and community! We’re a fun and welcoming program for 3rd–6th grade students in the Westerville Central School District who want to learn the basics of sideline cheerleading — and have a blast doing it.
Founded in 2023, our squads cheer on the Warhawks Youth Basketball teams during Sunday afternoon games, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart to the court.
Led by volunteer coaches with cheerleading experience, we focus on building strong foundations in cheer, boosting confidence, and helping young athletes take their next big step toward middle school cheer.
We’re always looking for passionate volunteers to join our team — whether you have a cheer background or just love supporting kids in your community, there’s a place for you here!

Meet Our Board
Our cheer board is proudly led by three dedicated Westerville Mom’s with a passion for cheerleading and a shared vision to build school spirit and strengthen community involvement.
President
Natalie English
Natalie is a busy mom of a 3rd and 7th grader who keep her on the move year-round — from golf and baseball to soccer and dance, and of course, cheer.
Originally from Northeast Ohio, Natalie is a loyal Cleveland sports fan with a lifelong love of cheerleading. She cheered throughout high school and college, continuing her cheer career at Baldwin Wallace University, where she and her husband both graduated.
Natalie believes cheerleading builds so much more than skills — it develops confidence, leadership, teamwork, and character. She’s passionate about passing that spirit on to the next generation and is dedicated to helping young athletes grow, build confidence, and find joy both on and off the sidelines.
Vice President
Jamie Cmehil
Jamie is a proud Westerville resident, where she lives with her husband, Joey, and their two daughters, Olivia and Kate. Cheer has been a big part of Jamie’s life. She spent eight years cheering on both youth and varsity teams, and now she loves giving back through the Warhawks Youth Cheerleading Program.
“I love sharing my passion for this sport and watching our athletes grow in their confidence, skills, and leadership while building friendships they’ll carry for years to come.”
A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, Jamie works full-time as Vice President at a promotional marketing agency. In the evenings and on weekends, you’ll usually find her and her husband cheering on their daughters at soccer fields, basketball courts, and swim meets. Jamie also loves to travel, attend concerts, spend time with family and friends, and cheer on her two favorite teams — the Columbus Crew and her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Mandy Queen
Mandy began her cheer journey at just 8 years old, going on to cheer at both Heritage Middle School and Westerville South, developing a love for the sport. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University and an avid Buckeye fan, Mandy now lives in Westerville with her husband and their two children.
Mandy is excited to kick off her second year as a coach and board member, ready to lead a spirited team of enthusiastic cheerleaders. With a passion for fostering teamwork and excellence, she looks forward to another fantastic season filled with energy, a lot of fun, and unforgettable memories.

WARHAWKS YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
Our cheerleaders proudly support the Warhawks Youth Basketball Association (WYBA) — a community-based travel basketball program for 3rd–6th graders in Westerville, Ohio.
WYBA focuses on skill development, teamwork, and preparing athletes to compete at the next level — all in a positive, competitive environment.
